Was always looking like a tough period, and I always thought if we are still in contention at the end of January, we stand a chance.
It does now look like it will be a straight fight between us and Wolves to stay up.
Wolves have got Chelsea (a), Arsenal (h), Villa (h), Liverpool (a), Bournemouth (a) as their next 5 league games. That alone could smash any hope they have left in that dressing room, they are already at breaking point.
We have to move on, fast, from the last 2 games. They were always going to be hard and this Saturday is another challenge. We get this game out the way, and the rest of the season IS easier, no doubt about it.
I think we can get something up at Anfield regardless, IF we can get our heads straight for the game. We have the strongest squad we have had all season right now, we just need to get the heads straight to go again. I hope we are looking at games in chunks, and this Liverpool game is the last one of a difficult chunk.
