Leicester City any accountants in the house 09:42 - Jan 24 with 1560 views | Pinewoodblue | Reading the Rude Ven nastyboy post prompted me to have a look at Companies House activity for Leicester City. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/04593477 They have been very busy recently with lots of secured loans being taken out and others being settled. Only this week they registered a loan secured against Premier League payments for seasons 26/27 & 27/28, or against parachute payments. To a layman they seem to be in an awkward position financially. Anyone in a position to explain what it all means.

The Tories for instance a few years back cancelled the Triple lock due to wage inflation supposedly being at 6% a figure never achieved , as the figure given for inflation is taken in the September of the year before the increase the next April this came out at 3.1% but the figures for the previous month and then the month after were both higher and continued up to 11%. In my opinion this was sleight of hand and by moving some of the inflation figures to October 4.3% they saved themselves millions and did pensioners out of the increase they should have had. The mad world of football where even clubs with vast International support and sales of merchandise don't make a profit due to the huge sums paid for players and their wages. Unless I am imagining it I believe I heard that Man Utd have informed supporters that prices will have to increase due to them fearing breach of fair play rules.
