You couldn't say the same held true, with, for instance, the Town 2005 Youth Cup winning side. The number of our youth products that end up at Bury, Leiston, Chelmsford, Braintree, Yarmouth, and so on, compared to those who not only end up playing for us, but in professional football in general, is incredibly low. Our youth system has been greatly under funded for many years and wasn't appreciated after Burley left the club. |  |

Jamal Lewis, Max Aarons, Cauley Woodrow, Janoi - and the others with significant careers, and all in the same U-11 side. There can't be too many examples of such a success-rate. | |

Maybe Harry Clarke's an example of part of the problem. Although not denying we've under invested and neglected youth. He went to arsenal, so did Flores, Ben Knight, Charlie brown was it? Plus a few more, one went to Tottenham I think. Harder to develop no the top talent gets picked off, though I think that's something we're trying to stop with category one etc. |  | | |
