Say goodbye to the Premier League with a team of actual Ipswich legends. I bet there would be a lot of passion and energy and we might even win.

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

We'd get battered obviously, expecially in midfield, but i will concede that the back 5 are no weaker than any other combination we could field.

Last time Morsy and Luongo played together we were 1-0 up at Nottingham Forest. Before that we did much better against both Man City and particularly Liverpool than in the reverse fixtures.

Burgess, Broadhead and Walton all have much better results than Greaves, Clarke and Palmer this season. Woolfenden has been good on every appearance. Chaplin was better than Enciso today. The rest all started, and Davis, Morsy, Hutchinson, Tuanzebe and Hirst were probably our five best players.

I wish the promotion players had been a much bigger part of this season.

We went 1-0 up at Forest because it was the FA Cup and there was no intensity to the game as I noted at the time.

I thought he played well, but Forest were giving Morsy and Luongo time and space especially in that first half which they would never get in the Premier League. We lacked any penetrating passes even though we had an impressive amount of possession. But yes, it Morsy's best game for awhile.

Let's be honest, would we notice the difference?

On recent form, maybe Cajuste for Luongo would be the only change which would make a marked difference. But Luongo deserves a start and next week doesn't really matter.

It matters as much as this week surely as we'll finish 18th if we win and Leicester lose to Bournemouth who are chasing Europe.

You won't see Burgess, already finished up.

Yeah, win at home. Haven't found that easy this season.

Today was the day to solidify 18th.
