Poor Kieffer. It was ‘one of those’ moments.
First half he was outstanding. Second half he faded, but Sheffield United fell back on what we have we hold tactics and he was left high and dry as well as tiring. The blame should not lie with him but the team as a whole.
They put themselves under pressure by allowing the Sunderland lads to play rather than kill the game. Sunderland’s weakness was its defence against a savvy Moore and classy midfield duo, but that was not exploited enough in the end. |  | | |

He does have the touch of a trampoline, although I felt for him. A lovely finish and slow defender reaction was just as much the reason. There was still a bit of work to do. |  |
