Cajuste and probably a couple of other starters will not be here next season (although it might not be clear which). Hirst ahead of Delap may be with that thought or may be to protect him from injury. It could also be that Hirst is considered a better option right now. Clearly his presence on the bench means we are prepared to play him if needed. |  |

TBH I was thinking mainly of the front three. I also don’t think that Cajuste’s replacement is at the club yet..
Agree with you that he and a couple of others won’t be here. (Probs Davis and possibly Hutch + Delap must be top of the pile. Really hoping we’ll keep Axel. | |

Delap has probably missed a bit training, whilst going to Man Utd, Newcastle and Everton. Not sure if he went to Chelsea as well, or just spoke on the phone.
