Why would a transfer, especially one like this, be an "undisclosed fee"?
Everybody in the football and finance world knows what the cost is, it's hardly a secret, so what's the purpose of hiding it behind such a silly phrase?

I find it more bizarre that at a fee of just £30m; we’re only getting £20m upfront.

I can't imagine it makes a difference if its guaranteed (which it is) rather than potential future revenues through 'add ons'. PSR calcs are largely about profitability which is recognised when its earned. Effectively accrual accounting, not cash accounting. The phasing of the cash flows won't impact that. |  | | |

I find it funny that many want us to take 'cheaper punts' on players abroad etc, punts which I imagine will still cost around what we paid for Muric, or a little more, and yet many cannot help themselves bringing it up constantly.
