I know he’s now an ex player, but I assume he’s injured again. Played from start but only lasted about 20 mins in Burnley’s friendly at Shrewsbury on 26th July and not featured since.

I was picking my fantasy football team and had a look at the Burnley fixtures to see how pre-season had gone (looking for a bargain player who'll make appearances) and noticed Walker was playing RB.

Gutted for him.

I believe Town did push the boat out for him but he wanted PL football and a return to the North West.

Shame. Sometimes it just works out for players at a club but not at another when it comes to injuries. Usually we're the wrong side of that coin but maybe with Tuanzebe he was better off staying here.

With a dishwasher thrown in as a signing on bonus.

"Barnes and Tuanzebe did same warm down as all subs immediately after coming off. No sign of injury to both so would appear planned/managing workload."

Their next game is against Lazio of all teams, closest we'll have come to the agreement being honoured if he plays.
