The only mini gripe i have with rotation 19:16 - Nov 25 with 516 viewsFrimleyBlue

Is how much effect is has on composure.

Obv a difficult balance with so many games to play but you kinda feel 2/3 changes would seem about right compared to 6 again.

Anyways here's to hopefully another 3 points :)

What do you mean by "composure"?

They are professional football players, not playing a match shouldn't affect their composure unless you have a different definition to me which is possible.

People seem to struggle with the fact that 6 changes one week, 6 the next, often means that much of the same XI is playing together - just a week apart.

Despite the changes, plenty of partnerships…
O’Shea / Greaves
Azor / Cajuste
Davis / Clarke

I guess my thinking is that if you are in and out of the side youre maybe snapping at opportunities as you've not got in your groove. Azon for example. 1 game then benched. How is he going to grow into the side and become a composed finisher when youre so in and out of the side. Alot of composure i guess comes from confidence so im not really sure how youre going to gain that when youre so in and out of the lineup.

Is there anything you haven't got an opinion on that you need to share ?

Oh b*gger, you can't see this as you blocked me

For what its worth, we aren't really doing anything different to Coventry or Middlesboro - I don't think its really an issue.

No no not struggling with it. I know why hes doing it. Just think for some players a slightly less bit of rotation might perhaps help with more composed finishing.

Azon is still playing in every game. It's not as though he's picked a weak side either. It might not be your or my favoured starters but they'll all play tonight.

If you liked my post, please take the time to upvote it. It's very much appreciated.

But is it ever our strongest side for games? Or is it a strong team one week and weaker one or kess effective combination for the next game?

Your points are fairly valid. You can also make an argument that players aren't fighting for their places as much because they know they get to play anyway (to an extent).

But McKenna will understand the cons and is balancing with the pros i.e. less injuries, less fatigue etc etc. We can only see how it pans out in the end.

Poll: Who do we think McKenna (not you) will partner Greaves with ?

And other partnerships getting plenty time to work together as well:

O'Shea / Kipre
Azor / Taylor
Davis / Philogene

It is fairly clear who he sees as key players able to cope with two matches a week and those he sees as needing some degree of rotation to keep sharp/be able to put everything into the time they are on the pitch/protect from injury. nodge fans said Nunez is a wonderful player but you will rarely see him fit. By rotating him we have seen him fit for every match so far. Would it be better to have him play 3 full matches and then be out for 5 or 6 with a rusty Akpom/Szmodics coming in for him?
