He did it a good number of times last night My worry is we're flogging him to death now ...,,and consequently heading towards a 2 game ban We need cover hey

He needs to be booked on Saturday in order to be back in time for Coventry away. SB

My thoughts exactly. When they mentioned it last night that was my first thought Think it'll be nailed on for a yellow Saturday . If he's not yellowed by the 89th minute expect to see him kick the ball away

It's part of the role (risk/reward) and the way we play. That said, his overall contribution vastly outweighs this negative. Like all good players - his reading of the game is superb. Just the once I think last night. But boy, his overall game was excellent (again). He's quality - best bit of summer business (at this point)?

Absolutely the best bit of our Summer business and for me with Nunez slowly but surely catching him up the way he's going

I wonder who tipped us off about him. Cajuste perhaps. It was a great bit of business however we got him.

Positionally he is excellent - his ability to read the game and be in the right place is excellent. His passing accuracy is actually quite high, and certainly not the worst of our midfield, but the problem is that because he is the player sitting deepest in the midfield, a misplaced pass from him is often more costly than it is for Taylor, Nunez, Cajuste etc. He has a bit of a habit of misplacing a pass in our area more than others . . . I also think beause of his role he is far more likely to pick up bookings, but also feel he is now being booked a little on reputation, not disimilar to how Morsy seemed to get less forgiveness from the officials.

Plus Kipre and Walle Egeli coming up fast in the outside lane.

Hence my 'at this point'. Egeli looks like he's going to be very, very good. Kipre is looking like a ridiculous piece of loan business as well.

In reality, it looks like the summer is turning out to have been a very good transfer window overall, adding in how Furlong is developing at right back.
