Shame Juve or another club haven't swooped for him this window, as rumoured early on. Would have been good to have had a few more £millions in the kitty going into the last week of the window.

It all depends on the terms of his loan to Sassuolo.

If Sassuolo have a season-long loan with no break clause, and a guaranteed right to buy in the summer, then there's no way Juve could have got him, and no point in Sassuolo buying him earlier than they'd have to.

Very much doubt we're that short of funds that we need to sell Muric in order to buy whomsoever we may (realistically) want.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

We may see a double transfer in the summer, much like Abraham's move to Villa.

Nah, better to wait until end of season. If we go up, it's a goal keeper on sale from a prem club......

A clean sheet for Muric on Sunday:-

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/fo

I didn't look into the reports in too much detail but this website had Muric as Sassuolo's highest rated player with a match rating of 7.44 :-

In other loan goalkeeper news unfortunately Henry Gray has been injured in his game for Harrogate tonight (the text below is copied from the BBC live text):-

"45' - Delay in match because of an injury Henry Gray (Harrogate Town)."

Will it make a difference? I thought that the fee had been fixed at the commencement of the loan, so there’s no extra leverage if we go up.

Indeed, promotion (and any associated bonus or wage increase) could mean we make less from the deal if we have to make up any difference between his new Sassuolo wage, and the wage he’d otherwise be on at Town (if my understanding of transfers is correct).

Sadly money doesn't equal success otherwise Tottenham and Man Utd would be first and second and Liverpool wouldn't be looking at a 100 million plus striker in a plaster cast.
Nice to have money rather than be skint. But health and happiness is far more important.
I have loved Town since I was a mere boy. The times when I watched people being sat around the pitch as the stands were full. The FA Cup and EUFA cup wins and the great teams of the late 70's early 80's.
The fact that we were a family club.
I'm glad the Marcus Evans era is way behind us now and whilst I appreciate we have owners who have put multi millions into the club, but will in the end want something out, I do not want ITFC to be turned into, as Roy keane would say "A prawn sandwich brigade"
Where it's not how long or how passionately you support the club. But how deep your pockets are.
