Nunez in the double pivot 10:41 - Apr 15 with 541 viewsportmanking

Is it time that we play him there for the rest of the season? Improve our ball retention and control. He's looked like quite a liability in the 10 lately IMO. Often wondered whether Philogene would work in the 10 since he's two-footed and exceptional in the press.

Based on recent performances I'm not sure Nunez would bring ball retention or control to the midfield. I think we missed Taylor in there last night, it was a game where we need more of a presence in midfield and someone to put themselves about and get around the pitch. Neil was a passenger and Azor clearly not fit.

Taylor has become almost undroppable for me simply for his energy and willingness to get about the pitch/fight. Neil, debut aside, has been a complete disappointment. We haven't got half the player I expected.

Looked more like a double agent last night.

I have to say I thought Neil would be an excellent short-term loan but it just doesn't seem to be working out for me. I'd agree that Taylor has played excellently in the second midfield spot this season.

Neil's way off his best, but he's barely kicked a ball all season and hasn't had a run of starts.

Jack Taylor isn't good enough, but the fact your statement is probably true is a mark on the likes of Cajuste, more than it's a merit on Taylor IMO.
