It's almost like a point per game after playing 3 teams that finished in the top 7 last season really isn't a bad start.

In isolation, we were fairly well beaten by Man Utd and Liverpool and there were lessons to learn but starting the season off with the win was a big plus. We now need to pick up points in the next 5. There aren't going to be any easy games (just as I don't recall there being last season!)

This is why its important to win the games against the bottom half of the table ( or those teams likely to be in thst section) and mud table teams. Results against any of the top 5-6 is an absolute bonus and almost immaterial in terms of our staying up this season. The bread and butter season for us is mid table and bottom 6 teams.

In the three games so far weve been overwhelmed for roughly 25 mins and its cost us half a dozen goals, GON correctly identified the cause at OT and last night i think we just didnt have the nous to stop that incredibly lively Liverpool . Our general play has been fine but we must stop conceding goal clusters. Next group of three games could/should reveal if we have indeed learn't anything to stop that

Absolutely. Joint thirteenth after three games is a very good foundation but we must learn lessons from those periods of total headloss. And also the defenders need to run harder, and stop clearing it directly to oncoming attackers, but that’s implied in the headloss perhaps.
