They’re in trouble I think as a club, never stabilized and the money is starting to become an issue.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Yes, they've been financed beyond their means by borrowing from banks who unlike sugar daddy owners are not going to write the debt off.

Been listening to a few Burnley pods for Flemming news, and they are worried big time.

At some point as a yo yo club you're eventually going to stabilise on one league or the other, by either having an exceptionally good season and staying up, or a bad season and failing to get promoted.

You want to land on the Fulham and Leeds side rather than the Norwich and WBA side. So far it looks like Burnley have the potential to fail to go back up.

Shows why it's great ITFC are having a really good grab at staying up, because ultimately you need to make it stick, otherwise its more likely you fall back into the shuffle.

Poll: What rating out of 10 do you give to Ipswichs season up to this point?

Sheffield United another glaring and more recent example. Parachute money gone now as well.

Great shout. Had to sell Hamer back to Cov didn't they and Andre Brooks to Norwich. Shows you got to make hay while the sun shines.

Burnley will be ok when they settle I’m sure. But it goes to show there are no guarantees for parachute clubs when they drop down to the Championship.

Goes to show what a great job Keiran has done in getting us up last season
