Stead Linked With Derby Return

Striker Jon Stead has been linked with a loan move to Derby County by one of this morning’s tabloids. Stead was left out of the Town 18 yesterday and hasn’t started a match since the Nottingham Forest game on September 15th.

Stead, who earlier this week conceded he might leave the club in the near future, was previously on loan at Pride Park in 2006/07 when a Sunderland player, scoring three goals in 15 starts and two sub appearances.

Meanwhile, Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O’Driscoll has dismissed speculation linking him with loan moves for Stead and Town team-mate Owen Garvan: “Stead and Garvan are not really on our radar because of the cost involved.”

Well said that man! or perhaps all the short-sighted idiots should pay full price for their season tickets when he takes us into the Premiership in 2011.

"I truly hope that ME comes out and says that RK's contract has been extended to 5 years. That'll take the pressue off of everyone. Especially from the press and us so-called followers."

Markand1986 makes a good point,, Play Tamas Priskin up front with counago. Priskin will come good with the right service. To get this service we just need one win then we'll fly up the league I guarentee. Also blue, shut up would you because if you claim to support OUR club then at least learn to spell the managers name. It's Roy Keane.
