Magilton Denies Wrongdoing

Former Blues boss Jim Magilton has denied any wrongdoing in the wake of his suspension by QPR. The Northern Irishman is alleged to have headbutted midfielder Akos Buzsaky during a confrontation after his side's defeat at Watford on Monday.

Magilton said in a statement: "While passions can run high in football, especially after a poor performance, I categorically deny any allegation of wrongdoing following Monday's fixture.

"I understand that the club has initiated an internal investigation, with which I will cooperate fully.

"This is an unfortunate situation and I look forward to resuming my responsibilities shortly."

brittaniaman added 09:16 - Dec 10 Magiltons man management skills have reared there ugly head again !!!! We saw it so often here. In august we said he will be lucky to be at portman rd on Dec. 28th, how true that seems to be at the moment. I wonder what his C.V. will look like now !!!!!!!!! Especially when he told D.D.of the eadt to f... off, enough said.

Having seen how players react i such situations, what was he doing walking about? Surely if Jim had head butted him, he would be rolling around on the floor with his hands over his face (or leg, cos they are not that bright) with one eye open looking to see how the ref was going to react.

Knowing how many managers QPR have been through, looks like a good excuse for getting rid of another without a massive compensation claim.
