![]() Tuesday, 31st Aug 2010 22:01 Defender Darren O’Dea’s scan on the knee injury he suffered in training with the Republic of Ireland squad this morning has shown only a minor sprain. The loanee has impressed in his first three games for Town since temporarily joining from Celtic earlier in the month. O’Dea’s injury will be assessed again on Wednesday morning before a decision is made on whether the 23-year-old will travel to Armenia for Friday’s Euro 2012 qualifier. Team doctor Alan Byrne says the problem initially looked worse than it is: "Darren caught his studs in the turf and twisted his knee. He was in some discomfort initially and his hamstring went into spasm. It settled down and he was able to walk off the pitch unattended."
