I didn't expect it, but it would have been nice if the last League 2 side standing could have been shown on TV instead of always the big boys. A good reason not to have Sky. Gosh, I just looked up their prices: a basic package "from £19-a-month", then Sky Sports is £20 extra and HD £10 extra. £588 a year! I know Ipswich fans who say they can't afford a season ticket but do have Sky Sports. Hmm...

I totally agree about getting the match ticket prices right for this one. How about just doing it for half-price? £16 for a ticket would seem about right.

How about giving all the season ticket holders the chance to bring a mate for a Tenner.
If i were a player i would rather play infront of 20,000 fans than 10,000 Plus the bums on seats look good and hopefully genterate more noise.
surely some money coming into the club is better than nothing and having empty seats??
Anyway, I'll be there to see us into the next round coz basically i'm sad and love my club and would probably spend stupid money to watch them where ever we were in the league/cup.

And how much would you charge Season Ticket holders?

Why not £10 for all not just season ticket holders?
Not a season ticket holder, I use to be, but changed jobs and not able to make all the games.
My point being that I attended 12 home games and 4 away last year and I always take my girlfriend too as she enjoys the game so I purchase 2 tickets and then have a 250 mile round trip. not much change out of £150 quid per trip.
so why should a season ticket holder get a discount when most of them just have to walk across town to get to a game and most dont go to away game.
I wait the slagging off to begin I will appoigies now for having an opinion, last time i was told to crawl under a stone and die just cause i said it was time for Lucio to be on the bench

I'm sure marcus evans knows how to run the club. It would be good to see the prices dropped as the team could use a good atmosphere for this cup match. It's a long way to go but I can start to see flashes of wembely 99/00.

Guessing Northampton will want to bring nearly 5000 fans, as they did at Liverpool in the last round,but will this be allowed by ipswich, what is the allocation for away fans?

No Karlos, I agree £10 each would be very fair season ticket or not

Unlikely that it will be £10 a ticket (although it would be good) as the Football League sets minimum prices as they get 10% (I think) of the income through the gate, the rest is split 50/50 between the clubs. I know for the FA Cup the minimum price is £15 for round three for the next few rounds, so may be something like that.

15,000 @ £10 = £150,000
3,000 @ £1 = £3,000
Total = £153,000

or

8,000 @ £30 = £240,000
1,000 @ £10 = £10,000
Total = £250,000

Ask yourself what which would Mr Evans prefer!

get real, most of those were people doing Beatles and / or Anfield tours, sadly Ipswich and Portman Road is not a big draw for people from Northants.
