Derby Allocation Sells Out
Derby Allocation Sells Out
Thursday, 11th Nov 2010 13:56

Town have sold out of tickets to the derby against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Sunday 28th November (KO 1.15pm). The Blues' allocation of around 2,400 went on sale to season ticket holders yesterday and had all be sold by lunchtime today.

The derby, the first since Norwich’s spell in League One, is being shown live by the BBC and is the first of three Town games on TV.

The home match against Swansea City on Saturday 4th December has switched to a 12.45pm kick-off and will be shown live on Sky, as will the Leicester City game at Portman Road on Saturday 18th December, which will kick-off at 5.20pm.

I think the 2400 will be coming back very disappointed. I figure that clueless Keane will play 4-5-1 and that spells a defeat for us.

I do not expect us to beat WBA so if we lose to the Budgies, Keane has surely got to go !!!!!! I have already asked Santa for a new manager !!!!

Well said Balhamblue, I reckon he's part of the Jehova's Witness brigade myself - I'd be miserable too with that many doors slammed in my face!

@whoppit, I think you are on the wrong site, This site is for Town supporters not Town haters..... bet we wont see any comments on here when we win because then you would have to try and think of something negative to say.

Where is the crime in being realistic?? WBA are a PREMIER LEAGUE team who are doing well. They beat ARSENAL at Arsenal !!! We are little Ipswich who are coming off the back of defeat at home to DERBY.

Optimism is good but how much cash are you lot putting on an Ipswich win???

As for the Budgies, I cannot see us winning that either but I will be fair that derby games can be unpredictable. The only constant thing is that Keane is manager and as a result, Ipswich screw up regularly under his directionless leadership. I preduct a Norwich win but I promise you that is the last thing I want !!!!

Meekreech - Blue lady is doing fine but I am just being realistic thats all. Meek - can you honestly say that you genuinely believe that we are going to beat those two teams? Be honest !!!! I cannot answer yes to the question hence my comments.

And here is more realism drom me. I thought we would beat Derby. I think we will beat Barnsley and I think we will draw against Hull.

There's one benefit of being a season ticket holder. Didn't even reach general sale.

Whoppit

As a supporter who can remember games from the last century I have never in all that time gone to a game thinking anything other than we will WIN !! It may have been me being a supreme optimist but I prefer to think I was supporting MY TEAM !!!!! In all that time I have seen some dross and some heavy losses but I still think my team will always win the next game !

Meekreech - I saw the 1980-1981 team and in those days, I expected us to win every game and we usually did. Some of the days under Burley I also usually expected us to win too. Those were fantastic days.

The grim reality now is that our team is nowhere good enough to win every game and that is reality I am afraid. Now I do expect us to win at Barnsley and even though I will take a draw at Hull, I would not be surprised if we win there too. But I think that Norwich and WBA are defeats and every fibre in my being fears the worst.

Look at Chelsea this weekend. At home to Sunderland. Chelsea 100% If I were a Sunderland fan would other fans think I am being disloyal by saying that? I think not.

Anyway, it's a pleasure to debate with you Meekreech even though we may never agree !!!
