O'Dea Given Permission to Play Saturday, 8th Jan 2011 20:47
On-loan defender Darren O'Dea has been given permission to play for the Blues in their FA Cup tie at Chelsea by his parent club Celtic.
Town were also given the go ahead to play Jake Livermore by Spurs but the midfielder has picked up a groin injury and is ruled out of the game.

It gives us another option I suppose. Personally I wouldn't keep O'Dea when his loan spell is up, as really he is a left-sided centre back and we already have Delaney and Smith there. We could probably better spend his wages on a decent right-back.

Then he needs to get his finger out and put in a decent performance. It's good news as we are short of numbers, but I would prefer Kennedy at left back to be homest.

I never thought I'd would see such a professional footballer as one legged as myself - but even my 'wrong' right leg is better than O'Dea's as proven by the Scum disaster. Another Keaner horror signing!

Liverpool blu his loan spell up soon if Celtic want to loan him elsewhere or sell him he will now be cup tied that's the only reason, daft!
