Livermore Set for Surgery Thursday, 20th Jan 2011 16:46
Loan midfielder Jake Livermore’s spell with the Blues looks to have come to an end with the 21-year-old appearing likely to need groin surgery. Livermore, who has been back at Spurs since picking up the injury, was due to remain with Town until January 25th.
Boss Paul Jewell said: "Jake is back with Tottenham and I'm told that he could possibly need surgery on a double hernia which will keep him out for a while.”
Livermore, who has made eight starts and four sub appearances for the Blues, is currently awaiting the results of a scan which will determine whether he requires the operation.

Just a few weeks after being awash with midfielders, looks like Healy will get another game

Shame for the player - I wish him a speedy recovery. He has been okay for us. However, it must free up more budget for another player?

Sadly another Roy Keane mistake - he was no better than what we had. Very expensive for one slide rule pass against Leeds.

I won't be sad to see Livermore leave as he was poor for Ipswich. No more of these short term loan signings with no chance of permanent deals please!

Good player. Midfield has been a bizarre episode all season.

Was MOM v Notts Forrest, only player that looked like he had any creative ability on that sorry day......guess that's why Keane took him off after 50 odd mins!

Well we wanted rid of most/all of the loanees, so now they have nearly all gone. PJ can assess the players we own. Fill the gaps, get rid of the dross and save us from relegation. Sort out the rest in the summer and kick off the new season in style.
