GRENWICH BLUE saw the video collection on ruud boy boylens he look quite good and hes got pace! you need to take up a career in scouting hahahahaha! then again a few years back i saw a simular compilation on tamas priskin and look what happened there!
I just hope the club realise we don't have to pay over the odds for players in England. There are plenty of leagues out there with talent good enough to get us up near the top or even out of this league.
Correction: found out Boyman is contracted until 2012. Still, one year left with a team that's just relegated...could cost ~£500k but Mondial Sport Management (also look after Jay Simpson) would be tempted I'm sure.
He's been nicknamed the poor man's Kuyt but that's good enough for me.
He's out of contract after next season though and with a side not expected to bounce back. It might take £1m but not as much as it would take for a Champ player.
Either way, plenty of players in similar positions. The Champ is a better league than all second tier leagues in Europe and better even than some top flight smaller leagues. If we look at the French/Dutch/Belgian/Scandiavian leagues we'll pick up better for less.
I am looking forward to both these games. The technical standards over here are far better than the crowds these teams get and Town would be well advised to bring all their scouts with them and stick around a bit longer than a just a couple of games. A staggering 987 goals were scored in the frist division alone here last season and the lower tier possesses some quality strikers too. Town would be well advised to mouch around this neck of the woods.
Town should also check out a very creative midfielder by the name of Patrick Lip. He is 25 years old and plays for Geinmeuder. Interestingly on the striker front the four top Erededivisie goalscorers came from unfashionable clubs. Unofrtunately three of the top four were not from the Netherlands and two off off to Belgum to ply their trade next term. Heracles have an excellent Brazilian striker in Everton however but he would be hard to obtain I suspect. That said, Town should take a look at players from Excelsior and Roda because they are a bit short of cash and they do have some quality in their ranks.
Just booked my flights to Eindhoven for the week so meet you in the City square Monday night. Any chance of getting a fans vs fans match organised for those taking in both games? Take a couple of jumpers over to De Hondsheuvels on the Wednesday.
