yh well done PJ we got a good strike force sorted so now lets start training them to be better. I think ellington will be with us 2 or years. I think get 1 more good goal keeper the do defense thats the most important then midfield. Looking to be a great season COYBS

Wow Whoppit, Do you ever have anything positive to say??
Who did you expect? Drogba? Messi? Rooney?

PJ is building a side to challange for a top six finish not win the champions league!
Surely our strikeforce is the best its been for many a year, Much better than Priskin (Misskin) and Jason Im so slow and cant be a$$ed Scotland!

Some people only see negative things........You are one of those people!

Over the past 5 seasons he has averaged 1 goal
in 5 games, same as priskin over a similar period
Not good enough, IMHO ...COYB

I am reserving jusdement here. If he can rekindle some of his old form then there is hope and on a free I guess he is well worth a punt. My reservations lie mainly with his goals to games goalscoring ration which is disappoininting. A less than average 125 in 488 games for a striker is close to one in four and if this continues then he will surely be no better than Priskin or Counago. Scotland averages 1 in 3 which puts things into perspective. Prove me wrong Nathan!

The Duke is an excellent acquisition...Ellington and Chopra are 2 experienced championship strikers. It we hang on to Wickham, i cant think there will be many better strikeforces in the league.

Chopras and Ellington up front with Wickham out wide
or
Chopra Wickham up front and Ellington coming off the bench
or
Chopra Ellington up front and bye bye Wickham

My god some of you are negative. Ellington is a good hold up player who brings others into the game. He could well be the difference between Chopra getting 10 goals or 20 and will no doubt chip in with a few too. Very astute low-risk signing by Jewell.

What a complete waste of time and money, we need a goalscorer and this bloke is well past his sell by date, but he was available and Jewell knows him so hey lets sign him, it saves us looking for a decent striker, I really hope I'm wrong but come October when we are in the bottom half and still cannot score goals we are going to wonder why we bothered, and let's be truthful other clubs were not falling over themselves to sign him, just heaving a sigh of relief, god are we gullible or what !
