Town will face AFC Sudbury in a pre-season friendly at the Ryman League Division One North side’s King’s Marsh ground on Wednesday 1st August.

The Blues last took on the Yellows in their preparations for the 2008/09 campaign when a reserves side won 6-0 with Jordan Rhodes hitting a hat-trick.

Ex-Town midfielder Jamie Griffiths joined Sudbury having been released by the Blues midway through the 2011/12 season and could face his old team-mates.

The Blues are also set to play Blue Square Bet Premier side Braintree Town at their Amlin Stadium on Tuesday, 24th July (KO 7pm), while Den Bosch will be one of the club's opponents on their Dutch tour with that game being played on Thursday 19th July (KO 7pm local time).
