Kourouma News Next Week
Thursday, 6th Sep 2012 16:25

Midfielder Cheick Kourouma says his move to the Blues should be confirmed next week.

The 20-year-old has been training with Town all summer but he had been prevented from signing his one-year deal by red tape relating to his former clubs until Friday with the club still waiting for confirmation that it went through in time and that all was in order.

The French-Guinean, who has been back in France for the last few days, said on Twitter that he expects to formally be a Town player soon: "I think it will be early next week."

Kourouma has been sidelined with a knee injury in recent weeks.

its not a story stating a new signing instead of a cb, its just an update saying news next week on a signing we sort of made months ago,,, so actually any comments on this thread about CB's are off subject...coyb

Hopefully the new found French speaking influence in the Town squad can make Bilel Mohsni feel at home and want to sign.
He's a Centre Half.

..and a striker

...and a winger!

That depends if you're commenting on individual isolated stories that make up ITFC or whether you're commenting on ITFC itself.

We can't sign defenders until Monday anyway can we? What would be the point in the club revealing who we are after in that area when there are obviously so few decent ones out there. Good luck Cheick.

Everyone else be just that little bit more patient (3 days).

I feel v sorry for this fella. He looked reasonable when I saw him play, certainly worth a punt. He's certainly a possible for the future. For those who say we should be signing centre halves, of course we should - but we also need strength in depth in the middle too.
