Chopra Set for Scan

Striker Michael Chopra has revealed that he will undergo a scan later today on the thigh injury he suffered during last night’s 2-0 defeat to Wolves.

Chopra tweeted: “Lots of ice and acupuncture today and a scan later. [Will] see what the outcome is.”

The Blues could go into Saturday’s home game against Charlton with their striking options limited with Paul Taylor also set for a scan today having left the ground on crutches last night due to the ankle knock which forced him off just after half-time.

..... but Chopra apparently says you all know nothing about Football - exception being people who keep attending, and saying nothing.

How's that then, from someone who relies on 'the paying public' for his income.

In fairness to Chopra he's not playing in a good side, and any service he has had is very questionable - doesn't forgive missed sitters though, but all strikers go through those periods in their game.

Moral down, confidence shot to bits, watch the injury list stack up now !!

I think you, the reader of these poems, needs to feel my pain. This weekend it wasn’t with the football, which was excellent. Instead it was a traffic jam on the A12 heading back to my mum’s in Essex, which I was in, and not moving, for three hours. I managed to weave that into this poem, so it wasn’t a total waste.
