Crowe Called Up By Wales Tuesday, 23rd Apr 2013 14:04 Academy keeper Michael Crowe has been called up to the Welsh U19 squad, which is coached by former Blue Geraint Williams. London-born Crowe, who is able to represent the Welsh via a grandfather, was brought up in Norway, joining Town from IK Start last summer, and also qualifies for the Scandinavians and England. Williams’s Wales side take on Northern Ireland in a friendly at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium, Airbus UK, Broughton on May 1st with the keeper joining up with the squad at the weekend. Meanwhile, the Town squad and management have been in golfing action at Ufford Park today. This evening they will be at the club’s end of season dinner at Milsoms in Kesgrave where various awards will be presented, including the Players' Player of the Season, the Goal of the Season and the Most Improved Player of the Season. Elsewhere, defender Tommy Smith is to feature in an edition of the Trace Sports show Winners Circle next month (Sky channel 442). The programme looks at players’ personal lives, with Smith answering questions and giving a behind the scenes tour of Portman Road.
