Going for a Sonck?
Going for a Sonck?

Genk striker Wesley Sonck has reportedly been watched by Town and a number of other Premiership clubs. However, the Belgian international says he is going nowhere, despite the interest.

Apparently a Town scout was amongst a whole host watching Sonck at the weekend. Also said to be present were representatives of Manchester United, Sunderland, Derby County and West Ham.

Sonck, though says: "Let's see what happens at the end of the season. I cannot deny that a lot of clubs are interested in me, but I think that is a normal thing. Every week at least ten scouts come to Genk."

He added that he wouldn't move to another Belgian side. Town have already indicated that they will not be spending any more money this season, so a move for Sonck seems unlikely.
