Centre Spot Now Hall of Fame
Tuesday, 13th Aug 2013 18:53

Town’s Centre Spot restaurant in the Cobbold Stand was rechristened the Hall of Fame prior to Saturday’s game against Millwall.

Bryan Hamilton, the restaurant's matchday host, was the man who came up with the idea and the former midfielder told the club site: “The preparation and hard work that has gone into launching this new area is fantastic.

“We want this to be a place where supporters can come and enjoy the history being celebrated by the Hall of Fame, whilst having the opportunity to mingle with former players.”

Hamilton was joined by Simon Milton, Mick Stockwell, Ted Phillips and Allan Hunter for the opening.

No more Centre Spot? Is this why Russell Osman left? (True Supporter points for those who know the relevance of this comment!).

Goodevans. oultonblue got in there before me, I worked there for a number of years for his dad Rex. Russell's brother Murray also worked there for a while, and although it was hard work; especially on match days; we had alot of fun.
