Junior Blues Room Now Open on Matchdays Friday, 14th Feb 2014 11:36 Young Town supporters can now meet up before home games in the new Junior Blues room. Skipper Carlos Edwards and Junior Blues captain Frank Nouble officially opened the new facility in the lower tier of the East of England Co-operative Stand earlier this week. The room, which is kitted out with Playstations, TVs, arts and crafts and games, offers young supporters a place to go prior to matches where they can meet other young fans and take part in the various activities on offer. Junior Blues manager, Julie Bryant, told the club website: “Adults have the bar and can talk to one another and the kids don’t really have anything to do, so the Junior Blues room gives them their own little community and a chance to interact with other youngsters of similar ages.” Academy sponsors Source One Consulting provided much of the furnishings for the room, while Signs Express and the Co-operative have also helped to provide the facility. The room is open to all Junior Blues and young fans with tickets in the East of England Co-operative Stand on Saturday matchdays from 1.30pm.
