Thursday, 19th Jun 2014 13:59

TWTD’s seventies-style supercomputer, the Osborne 1.0, has been fired up once again and the results of the TWTD Questionnaire 2013/14 are now available. Close to 2,400 supporters took part, making it by far the biggest annual poll of Town fans.

To read this year’s results and to look back at the TWTD Questionnaire from the previous six seasons, click here.

Many thanks to all those who took the time to answer all or even some of the questions. As ever, we'll pass the results on to the club.

Next year, can you change the colours of the charts so yellow and green are not next to each other :)

1,916 (97.16%) out of 1,972 answered Very Good or Good.
Bloody impressive, and deserved.
Let's hope the 2015/16 season once again becomes These Are The Days!

On question 46, the great escape was 2012/13, not 2011/12 ;)

It doesn't, as far as I can see. What device/browser are you using? Anyone else having a similar issue?

top work twtd

not sure I fully understand the standing question. In SBRS lower I can't remember the last time I sat down (apart from half time). Given recent years' low attendances if you want to stand just come to the sir bobby.

on q26. This was a poor application of good behavioural insight theory. Given the communication mix-up it almost certainly breached consumer legislation. I wouldn't have minded so much if there has been a much longer lead in time and discussion of the funding they were seeking, to give more time to consider what you wanted to do.

Phil - probably a hardware issue my end (on a work laptop), I'll use my own kit later. Cheers anyway.

commuterblue, the standing question basically means the idea of a terrace but using rails to make it safer, but yes ofcourse at the moment everyone stands in lower bobby

IMO the most important long term question is #1 'How old are you?'

2007/08:
0-20= 21%
0-30= 45%

2013/14:
0-20= 18.5%
0-30= 39%

The average age of the fan on this measure (and I appreciate it is only a snapshot indicator) is going up and I suspect it is the cost of tickets. It is all very well offering deals for kids, but if the adults can't afford to take them, we have no long term fans with the club indoctrinated into their blood.

I'd love to see this issued dealt with, rather than the myopic current scenario where short term interests might leave the club short on core fans as time progresses...
