Murphy Returns for Town

Daryl Murphy’s return in place of Noel Hunt is the only change to the Town team facing Rotherham at the New York Stadium.

Murphy, the Championship's top scorer on 18, is back after missing last week’s 0-0 draw with Wigan due to a calf injury.

Rotherham include three former Blues loanees, Frazer Richardson, Paul Green and Conor Sammon.

Rotherham: Collin, Richardson, Arnason, Morgan (c), Fryers, Newton, Green, Smallwood, Pringle, Sammon, Derbyshire. Subs: Thompson, Bowery, Broadfoot, Milsom, Ward, Hammill, Frecklington.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Mings, Berra, Smith, Skuse, Bru, Anderson, Tabb, Murphy, McGoldrick. Subs: Kenny, Parr, Clarke, S Hunt, N Hunt, Bishop, Sears.

EssexTractor added 15:49 - Feb 7 Time now for MMs halftime team talk of the season. Losing to Lowly Rotherham, whilst Derby, and Bournemouth ( and Norwich) put their ambitious feet on the pedal. Next 45 minutes could be very very important for us.

We cannot fall off s cliff since southampton away without something or someone making things difficult... What is happening town????? We are like a relegation side!!! 1 - 0 down and Alex Mathie said Ipswich keep punting it up and it comes straight back again. Ipswich had a poor 45 minutes again, but I am only going by what Radio Suffolk are reporting on. They used to be so biased!! something had to change for this game but it seems it is not. Hopefully a better 45mins from Town in secondhalf. Maybe introduce Bishop and Parr - or not.
