Bishop in U21s Facing Wednesday

Teddy Bishop will continue his comeback from injury when the Town U21s take on Sheffield Wednesday at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm).

The 19-year-old, who had been out with a succession of injuries, most significantly hamstring problems, made his first senior appearance of the campaign as a late sub at home to Charlton last Tuesday but, although fit, was left out of Saturday’s 18 for the game against Brentford.

Also involved against the Owls will be Paul Digby, Josh Emmanuel, Myles Kenlock and Andre Dozzell, as well as U21s skipper Joe Robinson, who is able to feature despite being on loan with Vanarama National League side Woking.

Admission to the Cobbold Stand only is £3 for adults and £1 for concessions with entry free for season ticket holders.

iaintaylorx added 15:02 - Apr 11 Hope he gets a good run out and escapes injury free. As we have nothing to play for now, I wouldn't mind seeing Dozzell and a few other youngsters getting a few minutes. Have been impressed with Benyu and Emmanuel, so why not?

12th_Man added 15:37 - Apr 11 Be going to watch them tonight can't be any worse then Saturday can it? Not sure if I would want to see us play youngsters at the moment as it could destroy them

jas0999 added 18:37 - Apr 11 After Saturdays game at Sheffield our season may be over (probably is already). If that's the case I'd play a few youngsters and wouldn't risk McGoldrick or Bishop - get them ready for next season. Try Digby for example.

coolcat added 19:20 - Apr 11 Good line up tonight. Andre Dozzell and Myles Kenlock are playing as well. Should be an interesting game. Shame I couldn't make it tonight from London. Nice to see Andre Dozzell get an award at the Players Awards on Saturday - quite a character and a very talented.
