McCarthy's Pre-Cardiff City Press Conference Live on TWTV at Noon
Monday, 30th Oct 2017 09:53

Boss Mick McCarthy’s pre-match press conference ahead of Tuesday's game at Cardiff City will be shown live on TWTV from 12 noon.

In a new move this season Town are allowing McCarthy’s meetings with the media to be broadcast live online.

Visit TWTD to watch and discuss the Blues’ manager’s thoughts as Town, who are 10th, take on the Bluebirds, who are third.

Meanwhile, Town's U23s are in action against Colchester United at Playford Road (KO 1pm). The side is likely to include Emyr Huws, who is on the way back from his achilles injury.

If Celina rwally does return to Manchester in january, you dont need me to say what that will do for club and supporter relations. Its going to be a fun few months by the looks of things.

Good news if Huws plays in that U23's game.

Couldn't give a monkeys about the managers conference.

Has McCarthy ever won the Play Offs?

I think he might of failed in his previous attempts but I certainly stand corrected if I'm wrong on.

If however he hasn't ever won the Play Offs previously then it does seem a rather odd strategy each season setting a target to reach the Play Offs. That is to say, if the manager we are then expecting to negotiate the Play Offs has failed in all his previous attempts it does seem rather back to front thinking from the club. As I said I might be wrong on this but if I am correct (i.e. McCarthy has never won the Play Offs previously) then it would seem rather odd logic would it not?

Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this as it certainly wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong!

A manager who openly says he is fine if we win as many as we lose is not , in my opinion a particularly ambitious manager
Wow , we have beaten teams iin position 15th and lower and lost to the rest
Says all you need to know really
Mick 'why cant we beat the higher placed teams'?
Mick 'tell me how we have progressed as a club in last two seasons'

Answer 'F'#@K Knows , F'#king bionkers league , I am just picking up my pay cheque waiting to retire - I dont give a F'#k about you , the fans , the club '

Clueless

He is indeed and i think he just told us to be careful what we wish for. He is right, I do love being bored to death every season why would i ever want to give that up.
