Strong U23s Side Faces QPR Monday, 15th Jan 2018 11:04
Freddie Sears, Luke Hyam, Kevin Bru and Tristan Nydam will all be in the Blues’ U23s side facing QPR at Playford Road this afternoon (KO 1pm).
Hyam is short of fitness having been out for most of the last 19 months before recently returning to first-team action, while Sears and Bru have been involved intermittently in the last few weeks. Nydam has been out with a hip problem.
New striker Aaron Drinan is also expected to be in Gerard Nash’s team.
Town’s U23s are unbeaten since mid-October and last week fought from two goals behind to draw 2-2 at Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, the Blues U18s drew 2-2 at Millwall on Saturday with the goals coming from trialist Kai Brown and Jack Lankester.

Performances needed from all first teamers - tear it up.
In practice it sounds great first teamers dropping down - I think the reality is the regulars for the reserves will end up very annoyed at being on the bench with some first team players going through the motion. Leon Best for the U23s you can only imagine doing the bare minimum for example.
Not saying Freddy / Bru would be quite like that but I think you can see where I'm going.
Thanks weddings.Notice date above says 12.11.97.Hope that was when he was born, not when film shot? Looks a tricky player but notice all stadia empty;so cant have played anywhere at first team, level.Expect he is a trialist
