Bialkowski Set for First Poland Call-Up
Friday, 9th Mar 2018 10:24
Blues keeper Bartosz Bialkowski is expected to receive his first call into the senior Poland squad later today.
The 30-year-old met with Polish boss Adam Nawalka following the recent 0-0 draw with Burton Albion in February, a game watched by the former Wisła Kraków defender and his assistant Tomasz Iwan.
Nawalka is set to name his squad for the friendlies against Nigeria in Wroclaw on Friday 23rd March and South Korea the following Tuesday in Chorzów today with reports in Poland anticipating Bialkowski’s inclusion.
Bialkowski won six U20s caps as a youngster but is yet to be involved with his national squad at the senior level.
Poland were drawn in World Cup Group H along with Senegal, Colombia and Japan.
