EACH Logo to Appear on Junior Shirts
Wednesday, 6th Jun 2018 16:27

Town’s junior replica shirts will bear the logo of local charity EACH (East Anglia's Children's Hospices) during the season ahead, the club has announced.

EFL rules prevent gambling companies, such as new Blues sponsors Magical Vegas, from appearing on children’s kit.

Rather than the junior kits featuring no sponsor, as had been the case with away shirts sold during the second half of last season, Magical Vegas have paid for the EACH logo to appear on all those already manufactured ahead of the new season.

“We are aware of the fantastic work EACH do and for us this was an easy decision to make,” Konstantinos Veletas, a spokesperson for the Stride Gaming group, the owners of Magical Vegas, told the club site.

Graham Butland, chief executive of EACH, added: “I’d like to thank Magical Vegas for the opportunity to see our logo on the front of Town’s junior shirts this coming season - and we also look forward to seeing the EACH name on the back of the first-team shirts well as we continue our close relationship with the football club.”

Town’s new home kit is now available to pre-order from the online shop, with the away kit on sale at Planet Blue and online from Friday 8th June.

Nice touch from our new sponsors, bit of a leveller so to speak. Personally grateful to them for sponsoring us and for pumping a couple of mill into the club.

Excellent news and well done to all involved with this decision!

Having a blank shirt would have been far from ideal, and with EACH, such a worthy cause proudly displayed on the front of the children's shirts, this is a fantastic solution.

Maybe once the current sponsorship deal has concluded, we could look at the option of having EACH on all of our shirts?

Great idea and one that puts our club back on track with the community:two more shirts sold in our house (kids ones).

Love this; personally I'd love this to be in my boy's skirt next year, professionally I work in corporate fundraising for a national charity and it's great to see a regional charity getting this kind of exposure.

Very pleased with this. I had vowed never to buy my son a full priced shirt on account that we already pay enough for tickets, but I've now pre-ordered one on a whim. Well done to everyone that kicked up a stink. I think your voices have been heard.

Well said Bad_Boy_Mark. Would like to see EACH on all of our shirts instead of the other monstrosity of an advert.

Nice touch but you're still a scumbag betting company, you don't fool me!
Ps. can we please get EACH printed on adult shirts, if wanted?

It would be great if each was that main sponser of the adult shirt. Could have Magical Vegas quite big on the sleeve maybe.

Can I fit in a kids shirt....? Hmm.

Nice gesture by Magical Vegas but the cynical side of me can't help feel its a ploy to butter the fans up after the negativity over the Magical Vegas branding on the Adult shirt. Hopefully Us fans aren't that daft, unless of course they buy us all a free pint at the first home game of the season which is perfectly genuine.

Clearly an advertising ploy to get fans on board, but at the end of the day it's getting free publicity for an excellent cause. Still not thrilled about them being our sponsor but credit where credit is due, it's a good move for all concerned.

Now I wonder how big they make the junior shirts...
