Bru Agrees Deal With Apollon Limassol
Monday, 11th Jun 2018 16:47

Cypriot side Apollon Limassol have announced that they have agreed a two-year deal with released Blues midfielder Kevin Bru, subject to a medical.

The move had been widely expected with the press in Cyprus having reported that the Mauritius international was close to agreeing terms last week.

The 29-year-old, who left Portman Road at the end of the season, is expected to travel to Cyprus in the next few days to undergo the medical and to complete the formalities relating to the switch. He has been handed the number eight shirt.

Bru, who joined Town in the summer of 2014 after a successful trial having left Bulgarian side Levski Sofia, made 62 Blues starts and 41 sub appearances, scoring four goals.

Noooo. Should have gone to Anorthosis. At least it was not APOEL. Can't wait to see Bru playing over there and am sure he will do well and love the lifestyle, food and weather.

Feel like Bru was another who was on the verge of being a bit special until old Mick knocked the confidence out of him. Hope he now starts enjoying his football again in beautiful Kybros.

Mauritius and Cyprus - it's a tough life...

Was a decent option as a sub but not strong enough for the first eleven. Will miss the stories of his dog being lost.

Good luck to him.

He's done really well to land a club over 300 places above us in terms of FIFA world rankings.

Look forward to seeing him against Everton/Spurs in their annual trip to England. As another poster said...the 2-2 draw at Everton was one of the best games last season in the old UEFA Cup....
