Monday, 19th Nov 2018 22:02

Town left-back Jonas Knudsen won his sixth full cap as Denmark drew 0-0 with the Republic of Ireland in their final UEFA Nations League game in Aarhus this evening.

The 26-year-old started and played the full 90 minutes for the Danes, who had already won promotion to League A by topping League B Group 4 with Ireland finishing bottom.

Very well done - AGAIN- to JK : it should make all ITFC extremely proud that we've a growing band of players being consistently recognised at international level.

Knudsen will be well rested for the match at the weekend. Hard to believe that that Irish team has managed to get 2 points and Northern Ireland has none.

Seriously are the Rep of Ireland one of the most boring sides? - they never hardly score and seem to end up in numerous draws!
