Former Town keeper Dai Cornell appears to be training with Peterborough United following his Blues exit.

Cornell, 30, left Town by mutual consent earlier this month following one season at Portman Road.

Posh forward Idris Kanu posted a picture of Cornell with the Championship new boys’ squad before later deleting it but not prior to the Welsh keeper's presence having been spotted by fans.

That said, I wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours as we sometimes seem to see players 'moving up' after they leave us.......

Cornell was a decent Keeper in the eyes of anyone who knows what they are seeing - strange move by this Club to let him go. Peterboro' are no mugs at recruiting players - just check their record compared to ours ... !!! - over many seasons. Good Luck to Cornell - I wish him well.
