Excellent tie, big opposition but not impossible to dream of victory. Glad it's at The Goldstar as well, 2,000 covering every corner is much better than say 3,000 spread out in the Magnus Stand at Portman Road. COYB!

It's getting to the point where the ITFC girls should play such games at Porridge Road

I beleive the ladies deserve to play at PR they have fine somethingcno other ladies have achieved. All under 12s free entry and we could have a few thousand supporting would be brilliant for all those young girls playing out there

No way should they play at Portman Road.
They are used to playing at the Goldstar ground, its their home where they are comfortable with the surroundings etc.
Playing it at Portman Road would be like an away ground for them and it would be a disadvantage.

Playing at Goldstar would give them an advantage whereas West Ham would feel more ta home in bigger ground. Good luck ladies

truethurstonblue: Don't apologise - I think 'Porridge Road' is splendid. Very nutritious and wholesome place to play. From now on I will think fondly of home matches there ...

Getting to the last 8 against a super league side is their cup final, and personally I think we should move it to PR and get 12/15000 there. If we can take 7000 to MK I bet we could half fill PR for the girls..... This is our fans' opportunity to show a bit of club unity after all.

Maybe time for the new owners to fund a small (4-5000) stadium in Ipswich for the women's team? Could even turn the old practice pitch into it?

Think Bazza8564 makes a good point.
Clearly it should be up the team manager and his fantastic team to make the choice (if PR was available to them).

The thing is Wet Spam will be favourites for the tie and ought to get through. So do you try and maximise home advantage at the Goldstar ground or do you cash in on the success?

The latter would depend on how many more tickets you would sell by having it at Portman Road.

Personally I would stay at the Goldstar, but I will understand whatever decision is made.
