Ipswich Town Women have drawn West Ham United at home in the quarter-finals of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.

The Hammers are currently seventh in the FA Women’s Super League. They beat Reading 1-0 away in the fifth round to reach the last eight.

The tie at the Goldstar Ground, Felixstowe will be played on Sunday 20th March.

Town are the only third tier side left in the competition and reached the quarter-finals by beating Southampton 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at the Goldstar Ground on Sunday.

slade1 added 11:01 - Mar 1 No way should they play at Portman Road. They are used to playing at the Goldstar ground, its their home where they are comfortable with the surroundings etc. Playing it at Portman Road would be like an away ground for them and it would be a disadvantage.

If we can take 7000 to MK I bet we could half fill PR for the girls..... This is our fans' opportunity to show a bit of club unity after all.

So do you try and maximise home advantage at the Goldstar ground or do you cash in on the success? The latter would depend on how many more tickets you would sell by having it at Portman Road. Personally I would stay at the Goldstar, but I will understand whatever decision is made.
