In my humble opinion that pen should have been retaken. Keeper comes off his line before pen is taken. But hey I'm just nitpicking, it's all academic now.

johnwarksshorts you're spot on, he's well off his line and the linesman is looking right at it, that's what he's there for after all

I couldnt believe at the time it wasnt retaken - I said straight off to the lads around me that guy was a yard off his line. You didn't need VAR for that one. Yes, academic now, but seriously - such a bad decision. If their keeper does that every time no wonder he's got a reputation for saving pens. That said it was a poor pen - not in the corner, at a nice height.

I couldn't believe it was given. Thankfully the ref was very much in the 'homer' bracket last night.

Chepstow Blue Rams TV thought it was a penalty and that they were lucky to get away with John Jules one in the first half.

Looking at it on tv, Jackson telegraphed where he was going to place it. Once the keeper committed himself it would have easy to place in the opposite corner.
I think it good to Town out Rotherham a Paul Warne side after the break
