Tottenham and Manchester United Games Switch to Sunday
Friday, 13th Sep 2024 15:08

Town’s home game against Manchester United has been switched to Sunday 24th November with a 4.30pm kick-off for live Sky coverage, while the match at Tottenham will also now be played on a Sunday.

The Red Devils game, which was previously set for the Saturday, will be Blues boss Kieran McKenna’s first meeting with his old club since he left their staff to take over as Town manager in December 2021. Axel Tuanzebe will also be facing his former side.

The Spurs match, the Blues’ first competitive visit to the North Londoners’ new stadium, has switched to Sunday 10th November with a 2pm kick-off time due to Tottenham playing in the UEFA Europa League on the preceding Thursday.

Is the Spurs game just moved to the Sunday, or is that live on TV as well?

Spurs are playing in Europa League on the Thursday evening, so that was always going to move to Sunday/MNF.

I just booked all my trains and hotels up to Spurs, knowing this would happen. I actually took insurance on the Brentford hotel...

Appreciate that it's enough time to manoeuvre, but it's still annoying.
