Blues striker Ali Al-Hamadi has been named in the Iraq squad for their October World Cup qualifiers against Palestine and South Korea.

The Iraqis, who are currently third in Group B after two matches, take on the Palestinians in Basra on Thursday 10th October, then the South Koreans away in Yongin on the following Tuesday.

Al-Hamadi, 22, has previously won 14 full caps, scoring three international goals.

trevski_s added 18:05 - Sep 30 Linkboy he wont be able to go out on loan now until the January transfer window unless its to a Vanarama League club or lower and even though that would mean he got game time, that's probably too low a level for him (no offence to any teams in those leagues)
