Al-Hamadi Named in Iraq Squad

Blues striker Ali Al-Hamadi has been named in the Iraq squad for their October World Cup qualifiers against Palestine and South Korea.

The Iraqis, who are currently third in Group B after two matches, take on the Palestinians in Basra on Thursday 10th October, then the South Koreans away in Yongin on the following Tuesday.

Al-Hamadi, 22, has previously won 14 full caps, scoring three international goals.

Young players don't improve if they are not playing and their international game suffers ask Elkan Baggott. He needs to go out on loan now that Hirst is fit.

Linkboy he wont be able to go out on loan now until the January transfer window unless its to a Vanarama League club or lower and even though that would mean he got game time, that's probably too low a level for him (no offence to any teams in those leagues)
