Ipswich Town Women have been drawn away against FAWNL Southern Premier Division leaders Hashtag United in the second round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, the third meeting between the sides this season.

The Blues walloped the MK Dons 12-0 at the Martello Ground in Felixstowe yesterday to progress to round two.

Hashtag, who currently lead the third-placed Blues in the league by three points but having played two games more, defeated Wroxham 6-0 at home yesterday.

Earlier in the season, Town beat Hashtag 2-0 in Felixstowe but a fortnight ago lost 1-0 to the Essex side at the same venue in the FAWNL Cup.

No luck there in the draw, away to one of the very few teams in the draw who can match us….I guess it’ll give us a rare competitive match this season.

Don't gloss over your role in this, Peru - I saw your fate-tempting comment in the last story ;-)

Rubbish draw - away to a team from our own league who beat us in the League Cup... There were so many interesting draws we could have had...
Ho hum, let's go away, win and move on up!
