Milton Given All-Clear
Tuesday, 17th Dec 2024 15:53

Former Blues midfielder Simon Milton says he’ll be back at Portman Road for Saturday’s game against Newcastle United having been given the all-clear after being taken ill at the AFC Bournemouth match earlier this month.

Milton was treated in the directors’ box, which was evacuated, before being taken to Ipswich Hospital during the game against the Cherries.

After tests, he was released to go home late in the evening and has now been given the OK to return to Portman Road, if not yet to go back to work.

The 61-year-old usually works at the ground on matchdays with other ex-players in hospitality and is also the director of the Futurestars charity.

I hope Milts is ok. I am concerned with the NHS to say the least at the moment. Lots of news of people reading clearly bad results wrongly. Not to mention Tom Lockyear who was given the all clear after his first collapse and yet went onto have another one and fortunately had a heart op to solve the issue.

Hopefully Milts is fine.

Excellent news! Why would anyone put a negative slant on a positive story. Everyone has great, even miraculous stories about the nhs, and stories not so good! But nobody needs to hear or read a negative after receiving positive news!
