Town Women Re-Sign Bowyer Friday, 24th Jan 2025 11:23 Ipswich Town Women have re-signed Elkie Bowyer on a dual registration agreement from Tottenham Hotspur. The midfielder was with Town for the second half of last season, scoring once in eight games, but spent the first half of this season with Watford. “I am really pleased to be returning here with this group of staff and players,” she told the club site. “It was a shame my time here last season ended so suddenly due to injury, but I am delighted to be back and hope I can help contribute to a positive second half of the campaign.” Manager Joe Sheehan added: “Elkie is a player who we like and know well from her spell with us last season. “She has had a positive start to this season and we are really pleased to bring her back to the club. “She has some great attributes and is a good person who has already made strong connections with our players and the environment.” The Blues’ women are in action against Gwalia United at the Newport Stadium on Sunday (KO 1pm) when Bowyer could make her second debut. ![]()
