The 23-year-old joined Town in the summer of 2023 from West Ham having started her career at Middlesex RTC, before joining Oxford for her first spell, then moving to Chelsea prior to her stint with the Hammers during which time she spent time on loan with Hashtag United.
An England international at U15 level up to U19, Barker was a regular for the Blues, making more than 50 appearances for the club.
Also joining the U’s is former Town forward Holly Turner, who left the Blues a year ago, joining Hashtag United and then Nottingham Forest on loan in January.

I'm sure that I'm gonna get shot down and abused by the vocal minority for this comment, but can't there be a celebrate TWTD news feed or section for the women's team? The vast majority have no interest and we know that it's only covered for reasons of equality. We don't get bombarded with news regarding the under 11s and under 12's teams so why do we have to read about Jane Smith moving to Billericay Town or braking a finger nail and being ruled out of the next game?
I am interested to read these articles, so please keep posting them, TWTD. I saw Maisie Barker play many times. She was part of the promotion squad and even featured in an Ed Sheeran YouTube video. I wish her all the best at Oxford.
Good luck Maisy. Hopefully see you winning another promotion.
As for Trulyblue, I agree with you, we need a dedicated news feed or section for the women's team so I don't have to read the statements from flogs like you.
Womens game is on the up and could be an important revenue generator for the whole club. Maisy was actually a quality left back imo so surprised she is being let go.
Don’t be a dinosaur trulyblue, if you had daughters You would not feel the same i am sure
This news isn’t here for equality dei reasons. It’s here because it’s of interest to a lot more than just a vocal minority and because ITFC women are growing in quality and thus importance to the fan base. I look forward to both our Men’s and Ladies teams occupying long term berths in their respective top flight divisions.
