Bournemouth and Villa Games Rescheduled

Town’s home games against AFC Bournemouth and Aston Villa have been rescheduled and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The Cherries - who will be in Europa Cup action on the preceding Thursday - will now visit Portman Road on Sunday 8th November with a 2pm start, while the Villa match remains on Saturday 28th November but with a 5.30pm kick-off.

Will the club try to move the women's match to avoid the clash and allow season ticket holders for both teams to be able to watch both games?

Edmundo added 10:15 - Sep 22 Remembrance Sunday at 2pm is better than 12:30pm for home support, but still not ideal for the travelling away fans. However as the new ticket sharing rules demonstrate, the FA and Sky really would rather have touriats at games.

Even though it is great to be in the Premier league oh sorry Sky league i find the championship far more entertaining. Even though we have spent millions of pounds we are still miles away being a Brentford, Bournemouth or Brighton.

jazzback added 13:01 - Sep 22 The Bournemouth game is being rescheduled because they are in Europe on the Thursday. Always was going to have to be played either on the Sunday or the Monday. If we ever get into Europe get used to many a Sunday afternoon game

Linkboy: While of course I want us to succeed in the PL, I have a lot of sympathy for your view of the Championship. It feels more down-to-earth somehow. I do hope, however, we are not "miles away from Brentford and Bournemouth" because those are the kind of teams we'll need to beat if we want to stay up. Agree that Brighton in their current state might be a different proposition.
