David McGoldrick scored and completed 69 minutes for Town's U23 side as they drew 2-2 at Colchester United's Weston Homes Community Stadium on Monday evening. Town's senior academy sides completed their season on Saturday morning when an U17 team drew 1-1 with Colchester United in a friendly match at Playford Road, Republic of Ireland U17 international striker Cemal Ramadan scoring the Blues' goal.

Town’s U15s lost on a penalty shoot-out to Tottenham’s youngsters in their annual showcase game at Portman Road. Striker Sam Ford had put the Blues 2-0 in front with a well-taken goal in either half but the visitors struck back to even the scores at 2-2 by the full-time whistle and won the shoot-out 4-2.
